Today, with the help of internet, people can communicate with their friends from thousand miles away. Some people may be against online friendship. They think, it is a waste of time to make friends online. Also, in order to make friends online, one has to spend time chatting with others, hence people think that making friends online make affect one's study. Furthermore, as the identities online are not real, one may be deceived online. However, in my opinion, online friendship is not bad. First of all, one can make friends from different places online. Secondly, one can express their though online freely. Lastly, one can make friends from other countries, and talk with them in English. This is good for their English study.
