Lately I've heard a lot of complaints from my peer classmates that there are just too much homework to do on winter holidays, which apparently was not surprising me at all, or anyone else I should say, because we have been so used to it. I started questioning myself that: is it really necessary to assign so much homework for students and if there's anybody in the class would ever fill out all the blanks all by oneself for every question? Not likely though, we are just doing it. Some may say that it's good for us and these homework help us be prepared for the new semester. But is it true really? If you seriously think this way, you need to take a look around. We are here surrounded by fireworks, TV shows, relatives or guests at home. Everybody is busy with something like going grocery shopping, visiting somebody's place, or going on a vacation somewhere. I doubt if one of our teachers would be sitting at his or her desk now working on preparing for the new semester. However, as a student, without options, I would have to ignore the real life around me and do these assignments, which even adults can't do. We were told to be mature. Someday we are going to be someone, but we have got to do a lot of work to make it come true which includes the work we are working on, the winter holiday assignments. Pathetically, however, I don't see these work help at all. As a matter of fact, I'm so sick of copying down the answers somewhere or posting the questions on internet, looking to getting the answers from someone else. Don't put judgements on me because that is what any other regular person does too. Therefore, I would suggest the teachers to take a break and stop assigning students homework or at least you need to seriously reduce the amount of homework to assign for winter holidays because it's just not going to do any helps.
