2009年8月8日是北京奥运会一周年纪念的日子,也是我国第一个“全民健身日”.经国务院批准,自2009年起,每年8月8日为“全民健身日”.“全民健身日”的标志以8月8日中的两个“8”作为主体,组合出两个迎着朝阳、昂扬向上、充满朝气、极富动感和现代感的健身男女图形,传递出全民健身人人参与、人人受益,天天健身、天天快乐的健身理念.国家希望通过设立“全民健身日”来增强全民体育健身意识,倡导和鼓励全国人民养成良好的体育锻炼习惯,在全社会行程崇尚健身、参与健身、追求健康文明生活方式的良好环境和氛围.此外,国家在全国范围内倡导全民健身,更是为了改善劳动者身体素质,预防伤病,提高工作效率.从而提高经济效益,乃至综合国力.不断增加体育人口数量,不断扩大我区群众体育工作的覆盖面,努力提高全民身体素质.

The day August 8th 2009 is the first anniversary of Bejing Olympic Games,as well as our country's first "national fitness day" ,for the State Council approved annual August 8th as "national fitness day" since 2009.The two "8" as the main part the symbol of this day which delivers the philosophy that everyone takes part in and benefits from it and leads a happy and fit life every day combines into a pair of uplifted,energetic,full of dynamic and modern male and female figures.In the hope of increasing the people'sport fitness consciousness,to advocate and encourage the whole nation to develop a good sports exercise habit and to creat the environment and atmosphere that the whole society admire and involve the fitness and pursue the healthy and civilized life style,the government established "national fitness day".In addition,by advocating the whole nation fitness in the scale of all the country,the governent attaches more attention on the improvement of the workers' physical quality ,work efficiency,the defense against the injurys and diseases and then the improvement of economy efficiency and the comprehensive national power.Keep on increasing our country's sports population and widening the cover scale of work about sports and make efforts to increse all the nation's physical quality.
This is our country's first sports festival,and more it is we civilian's own festival.
