估计这是某老师自拟的模仿where修饰抽象环境或阶段的定语从句.“他=出题人”认为life生活是抽象环境,在simple life简单的生活中能独自去探索世界.
这个句子填where没有太大的语法错误,只能牵强说where引导定语从句,修饰life,意思相当于“in which”在这样的生活里.
我以为最符合生活且符合语法的说法应该是：
Cindy hopes to live a simple life,so she can explore the world alone rather than rush to varieties of training classes,etc.
