Two days ago,I was having dinner with one of my best friends in a Japanese restaurant.We were talking about each's usual life,while hearing that the quarrel came from the table besides us.
It was two Japanese that was teasing the Chinese waitress,who looked poor and very young.My friend standed up all at a once,seeming to be ready for a furious fight,while I immediately dragged his arm and said," Easy,we'd better not be involved in such a thing.That guy was clearly drunk."
"How could you think like that,buddy?"My friend responsed,"We are Chinese and should fight for our respects when it is not given from foreign people,especially from Japanese!" He came around them and used his fluent English to curse,and as a result,the two Japanese stopped by that,seeming to be scared.
They checked out quickly,leaving the restaurant in a short time.
"You are of something!" I said to my friend.However,a feelling of shame rised in my heart.I did learn a lesson from my friend that to be a man,a Chinese man,need to fight anytime for our respect.
