你确定答案是选A吗?我觉得应该选B.柯林斯高级英汉双解词典里面对于“sit”有这么一个例句：“Mother was sitting in her chair in the kitchen.（妈妈正坐在厨房的椅子上.）”对于动词 see有一个用法是see sb.doing sth.意为看见某人正在做某事.因此“I saw he sitting in the chair.（此句中saw是see的一般过去式）意思就是“我看见他正坐在椅子上”.而对于seat,常用的有两个意思,名词“座位”,动词“使…坐下”,作动词表达“坐下”的意思时用法应该为“seat onself somewhere”,例如21世纪大英汉词典中有一个例子“to seat oneself in the sofa 坐在沙发上”,如果这句话要用seat的话也应该是“I saw he seat himself in the chair.”建议你再校对一下答案,我觉得还是应该选B的.
