答案是A.请问E选项错在哪里了?
2.Outside the barn, a commotion involving three hens and a rooster woke the twins, who were sleeping deep.
答案是把deep改为了deeply, 可是deep不是也可以作副词吗?
那deep与deeply都为副词时有什么区别呢?
3.Although the Chicago White Sox win more often than the Chicago Cubs, Chicago residents, who are historically avid football fans, prefer the Cubs.
请问为什么用win而不用wins?
4. The soprano who led the opera production to its first place finishes in national and international competitions has more than five costume changes, which occur in the opera's first act.
这句话怎么断句?虽然有WHO引导的从句,但为什么有led, finishes, has三个动词?
5.(The success of the new restaurant is generally credited for its chef.)
(B)The success of that new restaurant has been generally accredited to its chef.
(C)The chef of that new restaurant generally receives credit for its success.
答案是C. 难道这项没有改变句意吗?我的理解是这句话是想说新餐厅的成功归因于它的厨师.C项变成了这家新餐厅的厨师因为餐厅的成功而得到赞扬?
非常混乱.求解.

1. E选项中was existing 不对,不应该用现在进行时.改成but existed only briefly 还比较合理.
2.deep 和deeply 的区别
两者均可表示“深”、“深深地”,修饰具体的动作, 有时可互换：
The doctor asked me to breathe deep [deeply]. 医生叫我做深呼吸.
修饰静止状态、介词短语或表示深夜等,通常用deep(偶尔也用deeply)：
He sat there deep in thought. 他坐在那儿深思.
The meeting continued deep into the night. 会议一直开到深夜.
Karen and Dave are deeply in love with each other. 凯伦与戴夫俩人深深地相爱着.
修饰带有感情色彩的动词(如 hate, dislike, love, admire, hurt, regret 等),通常要用 deeply,另外,修饰形容词、过去分词等,一般也要用 deeply：
He deeply hates fish. 他很不喜欢吃鱼.
We deeply regret your misfortune. 我们对你的不幸深表遗憾.
I am deeply grateful to you. 我衷心感谢你.
He was deeply moved by [at] the story. 听了这个故事,他深受感动.
补：我觉得考SAT语法无外乎就那几种错误,看到形容词副词混用就该选,不要想太多,如果有问题也该是特例.

从维基百科上弄来的一段话,可能在外国人眼里Chicago White Sox 和Chicago Cubs这一类的球队配合的动词就是复数,也许是把队看成包含一个个人而不是一个整体,就像family.
4.The soprano (who led the opera production to its first place finishes in national and international competitions) has more than five costume changes, which occur in the opera's first act.
这里who引导主语从句,finish不是动词而是名词,表完成 、结束.has是soprano真正的动词,而后又接which引导的定语从句,修饰costume changes.
5.我觉得归功于和得到赞扬没太多差别,况且词都是credit.这题的主要问题是主动优于被动.
要针对错误选,不要太钻牛角尖.
