题目是： On the right_____.
A. Mr. Fleming saw the foremost lines of the students.
B. saw Mr. Fleming the foremost lines of the students.

D. the foremost lines of the studetns were seen by Mr. Fleming.
选A 解释说是“介词短语置于句首时,若该句动词为及物动词,则不可与主语倒装”
我只知道介词短语在句首要倒装,不过这跟动词是及物还是不及物有关系吗~~?
没错,介词短语放在句首时,句子倒装与否,和该句的谓语动词是否及物有关系.
1.如果句子谓语动词是不及物动词或是be动词时,该句需要倒装.
如：On the right stood Mr.Fleming.弗莱明先生站在右边.
In the room is my mother.我妈妈在房间里面.
2.如果句子谓语动词是及物动词时,该句无须倒装.
如：In the room I found my purse.= I found my purse in the room.我在房间里面找到了我的钱包.
最后还要提醒楼主的是：
如果该句主语为名词（短语）时,此类倒装为：介宾/副词 + 谓语 + 主语.
但是如果句子主语为代词时,就算句子谓语动词是不及物动词/be动词时,句子也不能使用倒装,而是变成：介宾/副词 + 主语 + 谓语.
如：Here it is.Here you are.
In the room he stood.
