什么是同位语从句

这不是同位语从句,是定语从句.这里也可以用关系副词why.
同位语从句是用来解释先行词的内容的,定语从句是用来修饰先行词的.试举例：
It is a fact that she has done her best.
It is a fact that you can't deny.
前一句是同位语从句,fact事实的内容是她已经尽了最大努力了.
第二句是定语从句,这是一个你不能否认的事实.但事实的内容是什么?从这句子看不出来,只知道是一个不能否认的事实.
从语法上讲,同位语从句的先行词一般是抽象名词,如news,idea,information,hope,rumour,conclusion...定语从句无此限制.另外,在中学阶段,同位语从句的连接词一般是that,不可省略,that在句中无成分,无意义.
