tell sb not to do这个固定搭配中的not,根据句子的不同要不要有变化?

tell sb to do sth中的to do是带to的定式,had better do中的do是不带to的不定式.不管是哪种不定式,其否定形式都是直接在它前面加not.所以应当这样说：
tell sb.not to do sth.
had better not do sth.
这些短语中的not都不能换成don't,因为don't要接动词原形,"don't+动词原形"只能做谓语.而tell sb.not to do sth.中的to do sth.是宾补；had better not do sth.中的do sth.是宾语.
