The thing to do is playing game.
The meeting to be held will be interesting.
为什么第一个不用被动啊?to do 动作的发出者又不是 the thing
the way to find it will be make known to the public
此句中the way 和 to find it 好像没什么关联吧,既不是动宾关系也不是主谓关系 为什么能用不定式修饰the

答：第一句,因为明显知道to do 的逻辑主语是for us,省略了.
其实用被动式to be done也是可以的.不过（两个）例句都很生硬.没人说这样的句子.
第二句正常的不定式被动结构作后置定语,因为meeting是hold的逻辑主语,被动关系,所以用to be held.
3.the way的定语有三种：不定式,of 短语或从句：
a.the way to do sth.
b.the way of doing sth.
c.the way (that/in which) sb.does sth.
The way to find it will be made known to the public.(make系made之笔误）
这个不定式的逻辑主语显然是“人”,for us省略的结果.
再问： The way to find it will be made known to the public 但是此句不定式the way 和 to find it 好像没什么关联吧，既不是动宾关系也不是主谓关系啊

A. gave B. a book to read. 中的to do, to read，有的语法书上称之为主动表被动。就是说，sth. 和do， a book和read之间确实是被动关系。照理是应该用to be done的。但因为前面有一个名词（sb. 和B）是这个动作的执行者（也就是逻辑上的主语），而这个动作与这个被它修饰的名词之间是逻辑上是动宾关系（当然是动宾关系了！）这时候就用不定式主动式而不用被动式，所谓的‘主动表被动’的”条件“：主谓+动宾。 而：I have some clothes to be washed. wash与clothes当然是逻辑上的动宾关系了。但因为I不是wash的发出者，即I与wash不存在逻辑上的主谓关系，所以不能用主动态to wash，还是用被动式：to be washed. 明白了吗、 所以有了反过用被动式的考题句： 如：你儿子在北京读大学。我明天要去北京。问你：你有什么东西要我带给你儿子吗？ Do you have sth. to be brought to your son? bring与sth当然是逻辑上的动宾关系。但要bring 的是I, 不是you! 所以不说：Do you have sth. to bring to your son? 还有象秘书问老板：你有什么信件要（我）打吗？Do you have any letters to be typed?
再问： 谢谢你了！再提几个问题 1.有没有这种说法: the way to be done sth.? 2.在he had already passed sixty of the stages ______(lead) to the tomb中. 为什么填leading而不填 to lead ？ 3.a minority of parents felt they did not understand it themselves well enough to explain中，enough to explain充当什么成分啊？
再答： 1没见过。 2.不定式表示将要发生的事情,通向是个状态 3.enough 修饰well 不定式作结果状语
