The limit in the equality translation between the original language and the target language almost is brought by cultural differences. And it’s always difficult to deliver the cultural meaning in the translation. Through the comparison and analysis on the Eastern and the Western cultural differences and based on the translation practice , this paper lists series of cultural differences that affect the translation in order to illustrate that cultural differences have great influences on translation. The aim of this paper is to make people face the cultural differences properly. It also points out that we should pay attention on the cross-culture developing ability and enhance the
sensitivity for cultural differences and veracity on utilizing the language so as that people can conquer the cultural barriers in the translation.
