may/might have done 都可以表示对过去的事情进行肯定的推测,这里表达的是与过去事实相反的虚拟语气,只能用might+ have done.
这句话意思是“即使他很忙,他也本可以帮助你的”(而事实上他没帮你.)
又如：You may have noticed something while you were doing this task.
He may /might not have received the letter.
但是,might have done还可以意为“推测过去有可能发生但已确知并未发生的事情”.may have done 不能用于此种含义.
