“中华性”之论从后现代的立场揭橥现代性的终结，进而以寻绎中国自身的现代性——“中华性”为指归，表现出一定的追求民族文化个性的合理性。但其指认现代性为西方话语霸权而否定其使用的正当性，进而割裂现代性与其所言的中国现代性的辩证关系，这就存在着无法规避的矛盾和困境。析分其矛盾和困境，不仅有助于理解中国现代性，而且有益于文明间的对话与共融。
