第 1 篇
Your professionalism as a tour guide represents not only your personal appearance and behavior, but also that of the company you work for as well as your country. How professional you are will depend on how you dress, your ability to use and understand languages, your manners and social skills and your attitude toward your work and the people you are providing services to. In general, your professionalism is your appropriate behavior in a business setting.
我的“复述”:
To be a successful tour guide, you must first have good appearance, and then appropriate behaviour, because you are working for your company and also represent your country at the same time. Your professionalism is often judged by how well you dress and as well as your ability to use and understand other languages. Service you provide and your manner toward people, social skill and attitude will all be counted. In other words, your professionalism is your appropriate behaviour in a business setting.

第 2 篇
Your appearance is the first thing people will notice and judge when they meet you. Are your clothes clean, neat, and appropriate for the situation? Clothes that are too casual or too dressy might offend guests. People judge your ability by your appearance and the way you act. If your hair needs to be combed or cut, face needs to be shaved, or you are wearing too much make-up, they will see that you do not take care of yourself very well, and will wonder how you will be able to take care of them. Tourists also tend to judge your company and even your country by your appearance.
我的“复述”:
To give people a good first impression, you must care about your appearance, because people judge you from just that. They will first look how clean you are, and how tidy you are. They will judge you by the way you dress, if you dress inappropriately, people either might find you offensive or think that you lack the ability to take of yourself, let alone taking care of them. And from there they also would look down on your company and even your country.
第 3 篇
Your manners, which means how polite and respectful you are to other people, will communicate a lot about you to others. You should be courteous and polite to all guests, even if they are hard to deal with or rude. Your professional manners will have a great effect on your company. If you act poorly, it will reflect badly on both you and the company you work for. Basic manners include the use of the expressions as " please," thank you," " Mr. ," " Mrs. " and “Miss” before guests’ last name and asking tourists to do something rather than telling them to. An American saying that express this idea very well is:” You can get more co-operation with sugar than you can with salt.”
我的“复述”:
Treating your guests courteously and politely is very important. They are the manner you should show all the time, in order to earn people’s trust. You must be respectful to all of your guests and communicate well with them. The way you act means a lot to yourself, your company and even your country. It can show how professional you are. Expressions such as " please", ” thank you", " Mr", " Mrs " and “Miss” are your basic manner, as well as guests’ last name and asking tourists to do something rather than telling them to. Like the American saying:” You can get more co-operation with sugar than you can with salt.”

我的“复述”:
The main thing and most important thing being a good tour guide are planning. Everything needs careful consideration beforehand in order to make the tour a success and make your guests enjoying their experience as much as they could hope for. Well, at least make things go more smoothly and as less problems as possible. A good planning is that you should write everything down on paper and follow them through orderly, which would not just save yourself time and also can let yourself have more control and show people how organised and professional you are. It can also earn yourself, your company and finally your country a good name.
