“Here’s the bathroom,” says Marv.“Woo,” says Maria. “It’s so small.”“Yes,” says Marv. “Because the passengers’ sitting room gets the most places. And there isn’t too many room let for the other rooms.“Would you like to see another room?” asks Marv.“OK,” says Maria.“This is a special room, you can have a good look at what’s under there,” says Marv.“Marv, come here. I need you to help me with the dishes,” says a voice. It’s from the dish cleaner, Jane.“OK, Jane. I will be there a minute,” says Marv. “Hold on.”“Why don’t you go up yourselves,” says Marv, turning back to Maria and Kate. “I have to help Jane with the dishes.”“OK,” says Kate.They go up the stairs. “Wow,” says Maria. “I can have a good look what’s down there, mum.”“Yes, dear. Isn’t it wonderful?” says Kate.But Maria is just looking what’s under below. “Er, mum,” says Maria. “Are we suppose to fly over the ocean like this?”“What do you mean?” says Kate. “Of course we are.”“Gee, I have never fly over the ocean before,” says Maria. “What’s that ocean called, mum?”“It’s the Atlantic Ocean,” says Kate. “The second largest ocean of the four oceans.”“When are we going to get to Hainan Island?” asks Maria.“You will see,” says Kate. “Maybe it has to be three days.”“Why?” asks Maria. “You said it only has to only one day.”“Because,” says Kate. “This is the W9A8, World Airlines. It carries people from all around the world. And they land many times. So it is slower than other planes. But it carries more people.”“Oh,” says Maria, looking with a little bit disappointment.“Don’t worry,” says Kate. “You can see some other countries, and see what it looks like in that country.”Suddenly, there comes a loud noise: This is your captain speaking. You are taking the plane W9A8, World Airlines is going to land in Merida, Mexico. Passengers, please check your seatbelts. We are landing. And the people who wants to get there. Please prepare to go down the plane.“We better race back to our seats,” says Kate. She holds Maria’s hand and run back to their seats.They held their seat belts. Five, four, three, two, one! Land! The plane landed. At Merida, Mexico. Maria was surprised by what it looked like in Mexico. It is so beautiful, and it’s so big. Maria has never seen such a big country before.“Wow!” says Maria. “It’s so big.”“Yes, it’s big,” says Jim. “But Russia is the biggest.”“Woo!” says Maria. “But what about China?”“It’s the third,” says Jim.“Oh,” says Maria. “Ahh! I’m tired.”“It’s time for your bed time,” says Kate. “You get up very early this morning.”“Oh,” says Maria. “I will go and have some sleep.”In Maria’s dream. She dream that she was at Hainan Island, climbing the tree, eating coconuts. Having fresh coconut juice. Swimming in the sea. Making a big sandcastle…Suddenly, Maria felt a bump, then a crash. It was a crash landing of the plane. Well, sort of, but it’s not bad. But it also wakes up Maria, Kate and Jim. They run to ask Captain Richard what happened.“Well,” says Captain Richard. “We still can fly off.”“Yes!” says Maria excitedly. “We are going to Hainan Island.She wait for one more day. Then the place, Hainan Island came into sight.“Hainan Island!” cries Maria. She runs off the plane.Maria wants to climb that coconut tree. But she can’t climb trees. That is the worst thing. Because, Maria love coconuts. Coconuts is her favourite fruit. And Coconut juice is her favourite drink. And last of all, coconut food is her favourite food!“Look!” says Kate. “Maria. There is a shop. It’s called Hot Shop. Why don’t we go in and see.”There are lots of coconut food and mango food and banana food. Maria is very happy. Because she always like those.Then she swim in the sea and build a big sandcastle. And her parents put up their tent and have a picnic. Maria was very excited, because tomorrow she is going to visit some places at Hainan Island. At evening, they go to sleep in the tent. Maria goes to sleep having a good dream.
