I believe that justice and equality will preserve a harmonious society
I got along well with my classmates in high school by always following my parents' advice:to be tolerant,generous and modest.But when I entered the university I realized this guideline didn't work anymore.
A case in point is one of my classmates with a similar academic performance to mine.She seemed to be hostile to me no matter how tolerant,how generous and how modest I was.
I could not help asking her:"Do a few more points on a test justify your being so hostile to me?" She said,"For you,a few scores are just a few scores.For me,they mean a scholarship that may help my brother stay in school and prevent my father from risking his health and life in a sweatshop!"
