首先它们的主语不同,所以不可以省略主语,助动词are相同,所以可以省去are的吧?to be 可以省略吗?为什么

尝试用books来直接作主语,即Books are supposed to be tasted,swallowed,chewed and digested.这样后面的to be 就可以省略了呀.
