再答： 准确的说as the result of是作为......的结果的意思，也可以翻译成因为，所以我说是强调结果。 e.g. An amount lost as the result of leaking.（由渗漏而导致的损失总量） 对了，补充一句，at the result of不是词组，意为对......的结果。 e.g. We are surprised at the result of the experiment.
再问： 那这句话 Rose was wild with joy at the result of the examination 为什么不强调结果呢 怎么辨别呢？
再答： 这里是at the result of，我已经说了不是词组了，这里at the result of the examination意思是“对这个考试结果”，整句意思是“Rose对这个考试结果欣喜若狂”，这里不是个词组，我刚刚说的是as the result of，不是at，不要搞混了。
