随着科学技术的发展和社会需求的多样化,产品的竞争越来越激烈,更新换代的周期也越来越短.为此,要求不但能根据市场的要求尽快设计出新产品,而且能在尽可能短的时间内制造出原型,从而进行性能测试和修改,最终形成定型产品.而在传统制造系统中,需要大量的模具设计、制造和调试等工作,成本高,周期长,已不能适应日新月异的市场变化.为了提高研发和生产速度,快速而精确地制作出高质量、低成本的模具和产品,能对市场变化做出敏捷响应,人们作了大量的研究和探索工作.随着激光加工技术的日趋成熟和工业用大功率激光设备价格的逐渐下降,给模具制造工艺带来了重大变革.激光加工作为先进制造技术已广泛应用于汽车、电子、电器、航空、冶金、机械制造等国民经济重要部门,对提高产品质量、劳动生产率、自动化、无污染、减少材料消耗等起到愈来愈重要的作用.本文通过对激光加工技术的原理、特点和优势等方面的了解,结合模具制造的现状,然后在模具制造、模具表面强化和修复、模具清洗、取代模具等几个方面,就激光加工在模具制造中的应用作了一些探讨.

With the development of modern society and the diversity of socity demand, production competiton is getting fiercer and fiercer and update cycle is becoming shorter and shorter.Therefore ,in this situation we are demanded not noly to design new productions according marketplace , but also to manufacture its origin in the shortest possible time which is used to performance test and modification and finally form stereotypes products. However, in the traditional manufacture system,it needs massive work of mold design,manufacture and modification whose cost is quite high and whose cycle is quite long ,so it is very difficult to adapt to the rapid marketplace changes .In order to improve the research and development and production speed to manufacture high -quality and low -cost molds and productions so as to respond quickly to market changes, people has made a lot of research and exploration. With the maturing of the laser processing technology and gradually decreasing price of the industrial use of high-power laser equipment , a significant reform has brought to mold manufacturing technology. Laser processing as advanced manufacturing technology has widely applied to many important national economy departments like automotive, eletronic, eletrical, aviation, metallurgy, machinery manufacturing and so on and has palyed a more and more important role in improving production quality ,labour productivity,automation,non-pollution and decreasing material consumption .This article has made a deep discussion about mold manufacturing ,mold surface strengthening and repairing ,cleaning ,replacing and so on several aspects through the understanding in the principles ,advantages and features of the laser processing technology combined with the present situation of mold manufacture.
