chapter7里的一段,Jane收到Netherfield的邀请之后,关于坐马车还是骑马去的讨论.
"I had much rather go in the coach."(Jane)
"but,my dear,your father cannot spare the horses,I am sure.They are wanted in the farm,Mr.Bennet,are not they?" （Mrs.Bennet)
"They are wanted in the farm much oftener that I can get them."
"But if you have got them today,"said Elizabeth,"my mother's purpose will be answered."
She did at last extort from her father an acknowledgment that the horses were engaged.
这段对话读着总觉得有点逻辑不通.特别是伊丽莎白究竟是什么意思呢?
