然而由于受到多种文化因素如地理环境、风俗习惯、宗教信仰的影响,动物词在各种语言中产生了不同的含义.造成了各国动物词内涵的不完全对应甚至完全不对应,从而对文学作品的翻译造成了一定的影响.因此,在翻译工作中,必须要考虑的这些动物词的不同含义以及影响他们的文化因素,从而运用恰当的翻译策略完美的翻译这些词汇,保证译文的本土化,不生涩.这也是本文的研究重点.

也就是说人们把他们的一些情感,甚至是发生的事件,自然现象都和动物联系起来,认为动物能够表现不同人的个性,或者是表示某些征兆.
