B:The origin of Father’s day is not clear.People don’t know when the first Father’s Day occurred.
A:Really?It’s hard to imagine.
B:But it said that Mrs.Bruce John Dodd.Her father raised sic children after her mother’s death.Mrs.Dodd asked the ministers in her hometown to have a church service on her father’s birthday.But there was not enough time to prepare.So they chose the third Sunday as the date.
A:Oh,that must be why we celebrate Father’s Day on the third Sunday in June.
B:So children of all ages try to show how much they love their fathers.
A:I wanted to do something to my father.Do you have any suggestions?
B:You can make special desserts,or send a greeting card,which are strange and funny because fathers prefer cards that are not too sentimental.
A:Anything else?I really want to thank my father.
B:How about dinner?
A:Great!I’d like to invite my father out to dinner.You know,he loves to eat hot pot!
