如果是用C答案的话,原句应该怎么改?

选择of whom 是因为这个句子中间由逗号连接,most of whom were from Germany 修饰前面的foreign students 做定语.不可以选of them的,否则后半句就单独构成一句话了,那么中间不能用逗号.
如选择C只需把中间的逗号改成句号.
