AOnce a year,a new cormorant is raised by Damin. A female cormorant produces several eggs. The eggs are checked by Damin,and the best one is taken from the nest.After 25days,the eggs hatches on Damin's houseboat.At this time it is looked after very carefully by him.As soon as the baby cormorant breaks the eggs,it is watched by Damin himself. For 10 days it is given food every hour.The temperature must be high,to keep the baby warm. The other family members are not allowed near the baby. Gradually,the baby bird grows stronger.After tow months,it is sent to join the other birds on the raft.
