Tokyo is the capital of Japan .It is the biggest city in Asia and it is very beautiful. Tokyo is also one of Japanese 47 prefectures. The metropolis of Tokyo consists of 23 city wards, 26 cities, 5 towns and 8 villages. Tokyo is a small city.But it has so many people there. So we always feel very crowded when we walk on Tokyo’s streets. Tokyo has many temples. Some of them just looks like the buildings which are in Tang dynesty. You can see some beautiful mountain in Tokyo, such as Mount Fuji. Mount Fuji is located in south of Tokyo. It’s 3776 meters high and it’s the highest mountain in Japan. There is snow on it and it looks very nice. Fuji has erupted over 18 times, the last time was in 1707, then it become a dormant volcanoes. On July and August—the best time to visit Mount Fuji, a lot of Japanese and foreigners come here to see this amazing mountain. The cherry blossom there is also famous. People from all over the word like to come to Japan to see the cheery blossom. The Cherry Blossem is warm, clean and pure. The Japanese government prescribe a festival—"Cherry Blossem Festival", it’s on March 15 to April 15 every year. At this festival Japanese always inviting friends and relatives, holding wine and food talking each other and children are sitting seat on the floor to play games. Sushi make for fish and rice at first, it’s imitate Chinese food in Tang Dynasty. Now in Japan have many kinds of sushi with complicated stuffing. Sushi is a kind of popular food in the world and it’s full of Japanese characteristic. But I think the people from Guangzhou don’t like it very much~ The last famous thing is cartoon. My friend tell me some famous cartoonist are born in Tokyo. A lot of teenagers like Japanese cartoon. Students in our class often enjoy for《Detective Conan》.
