The lion was ill,and many animals went to see him,but the fox didn't
Some thought it strange that the fox didm't go to see the lion,the King of Animals.And the lion himself wondered why the fox didn't come and see him.He was very angry and sent one of his guards to talk to the fox.
'Mr Fox,'said the guard.'Surely you have heard that the lion is sick.He is the King of Animals.And everyone must go to his cave(洞穴)to see him.But you have not been.Why?'
'I know,'replied the fox ,'and I want to see our king very much,but when I go near his cave,I see many foot prints going into the cave,but none coming out.Can you tell me the reason?'
