为什么答案是D?不是说with的独立主格结构是用来伴随主句,逻辑主语是主句主语吗?那这边不是用来修饰vacationers不是crocodiles了?

为什么答案是D?不是说with的独立主格结构是用来伴随主句,逻辑主语是主句主语吗?那这边不是用来修饰vacationers不是crocodiles了?
如果不选D,应该选神马?A是题干里的原句,B,C时态有问题,E语法错误.

这里有个非谓语动词 lurking做定语,虽然非谓语动词不能作谓语,但仍具有动词特点,其逻辑上的动作执行者就叫做逻辑主语,也就是说它逻辑主语是crocodiles,同时有个with的独立主格结构,做伴随状语,有自己的逻辑主语eyes and noses ,也就是说这里的独立主格结构修饰的不是整句话的主句,而是lurking
再问： 也就是说with的独立主格结构还可以用来修饰句子里的定语和它的逻辑主语，不是非要修饰主句主语是吗？要看情况？
再答： 独立主格是伴随结构，做状语的。。修饰的是句子，或者可以理解成谓语，跟主语有神马关系啊。。。
再问： 可是不是说with形式的独立主格和主语有紧密的逻辑关系吗？如果修饰整个句子，为什么不能修饰主句部分的主语和谓语动词呢？
再答： 是修饰整个句子啊，或者说修饰谓语动词。我的意思是不是修饰主语的。。。。
