3.WARRANTY:Warranty for products will be 24 months from the date of manufacture as found as part of serial number on product label as well as Customer assembled product shipping label(s).The warranty is detailed in standard Danfoss Warranty Terms and Condition per Schedule B.In addition,Supplier will warrant product against operating defects caused by an epidemic failure (defined later in paragraph) up to 36 months from the date of manufacture.Any field issues that are determined to be the Supplier’s responsibility will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.The Supplier will issue a credit to Customer for all units found to have failed due to Supplier’s workmanship or defective components within the 24 months warranty period.Supplier will determine if he wants/ needs defective parts and material to be returned.Supplier does not cover normal Customer field service labor for replacement of defective parts.If Customer incur any additional labor or other cost due to other than normal circumstances e.g.epidemic failure (defined later in paragraph),charges will be negotiated on a case by case basis.For all defective material received by Customer,Customer will issue a written Return Material Authorization Report (RMA),per agreed upon quality documents and specifications,which will be sent to the Supplier.All Customer RMA’s will reflect part number piece price,freight costs for delivery of parts to Customer and costs for Quality labor sort time if applicable.An epidemic failure is defined as a failure of more than 4% of produced model/unit/part within a 12 months period caused by the same root problem.If an epidemic failure occurs,Customer and Supplier will negotiate a replacement solution on a case by case basis.
