假定英语课上老师要求同桌之间交换修改作文，请你修改你同桌写的以下作文。文中共有10处语言错误，每句中最多有两处错误。错误涉及一个单词的增加、删除或修改。
增加：在缺词处加一个漏词符号（∧），并在其下面写出该加的词。
删除：把多余的词用斜线（﹨）划掉。
修改：在错的词下划一横线，并在该词下面写出修改后的词。
注意：1. 每处错误及其修改均仅限一词；
2. 只允许修改10处，多者（从第11处起）不计分。
One evening two German were walking in the street together. They tried to find a chance to steal something. The clock strike twelve. Most of the people went to bed. Quiet they came to a house. There were no lights in the house but it seemed that everyone in the house was asleep. Stood at the front gate, one said in German to other, “You wait here. I’ll go around to the back door and then get into the house…” Suddenly out of the house ran a dog. The two men were frightening and ran away so fast as they could. They dared not to stop until they got to a lonely place, “I wasn’t expected the dog could understand German, ” one man said.

第七句：stood改为standing    ；to后加the
第九句：frightening改为frightened   ；so改为as
第十句：to去掉
第十一句：wasn’t改为hadn’t
