Yesterday, I went to the the Park of Tropical Storm located in Minhang District with my friend Angel.
The Typhoon has just passed and the weather was O.K. for an outgoing. The temperature was moderate, no searing sun. Although there was sporadic rain, it didn't matter at all. We were for most time in the water and wet from head to feet.


It is heard from the Internet that in the park there are over one hundred items for playing. But it is obviously an exaggeation. The whole park is not very big. As far as we have covered, I feel it is no larger than my high school. Most of the items are almost the same. For example, we slided down from a high place. Some straight to land, some with several curves and to water. Or we could swim in the pool with some specially designed constructions in the middle of the pool. One thing that was imprinted on my mind was the man-made ocean wave. It was really like the true wave although it may not as big as true ones. We sat in buoy and jolted up and down on the wave. Sometimes the wave was so big that our little boat was upset and we fell into water. Fortunately, the water is very shallow, about 0.6m deep. But not being able to swim was also a great drawback. I choked several times in water.
But the happiness must overweighed the scareness or discomfort. And it was really a happy day in my busy summer holiday.
