本文以物理模拟技术、图像处理技术为基础,采用水模拟可视化技术,观察和记录液体充型过程的图像信息.实现了铸造充型过程水模拟技术的量化分析.低压铸造中金属液充型质量的好坏是能否生产合格产品的关键,如果铸型和升液管中金属液面的上升速度过慢,容易造成冷隔与浇不足缺陷,而速度过快,又易造成紊流,破坏金属液面,引起氧化夹渣等缺陷.
研究金属液在浇注系统和铸型型腔中的流动行为,根据一系列的相似原理和基本物理概念,可以通过水模拟的方法进行,既制作与实际铸件浇注系统和铸型尺寸相似、成一定比例关系的有机玻璃模型,研究水在有机玻璃型内的流动行为,对铸造工艺进行试验分析确定合理的浇注系统,达到对铸造工艺进行优化设计的目的.
水模拟方法简便易行,对铸造新产品的开发和现行铸造工艺的优化,整个过程可在试验室内完成,可大大降低试制生产成本,尤其对于大型铸件更为有效.
