对的,turn away 拒绝的意思,代词要放中间.

我觉得应该是themselves,不然,好像前后不一致.不知道是否有什么特殊的用法?

不行,这里的raise是饲养的意思,rise没这个意思.只有在表示上升时,二者才可以互换.
