A Short Genius
Deng Yaping,born in 1973,once a national ping pong athlete,is only 1.50 meters high.
Deng Yaping, who considered by many Chinese to be "A short genius" was born in 1973, even though she only has a height of 1.50 meters, she has achieved many significant accomplishments in her life so far. She has become the champion for 132 times in her life which 4 of them are Olympic champions. As for her work experience, she now works for Beijing Olympic Village with the role of vice village head. After she stopped her ping pong journey, she has studied for 11 years. She studied at Tsinghua University, University of Nottingham, and University of Cambridge. On December 30th, 2008, she got her Economics PHD diploma from University of Cambridge. She is the first athelet ever to obtain a PHD diploma, and has changed the 800 years of history of University of Cambridge.
