you should at least write it in Chinese and ask for help to translate into English.Then your letter of intent is more genuine and with real character.If you have problem writing even this letter,you will have problems studying there.

再答： You should write out a standard letter and keep this in e-file for each application. Before you start, spend a few days to prepare. Write down every strong point that you can think of about yourself. Later, when you are ready, sit down and classify these points into skill, attribute, life experience including interests. Write a letter base on these. Druing the writing, draw upon your experience from life so far to illustrate determination: to your chosen faculty, future career, studying habit, critical thinking, motivation etc. You don't have to make all these points, but, do the important ones. Interest - these can be used to illustrate your choice. For example: a movie you actually love, and this movie is about fighting the odds to achieve.
