Einstein was born in Germany in 1879. He didn't speak until he was three. He loved mathematics. He had the idea of relativity when he was 16. He studied physics in Zurich, Switzerland. He got a job in an office to earn his living. He published the special theory of relativity in 1905. He became a university teacher in 1909. He published the general theory of relativity in 1915. He was awarded Nobel Prize for physics in 1921. He left Germany when Hitler came to power and went to work in the US. He died in 1955.
