有关新概念英语三中的一个小问题
lesson 1中的一句话However,as the evidence began to accumulate,experts from the Zoo felted obliged to investigate,for the descriptions given by people who claimed to have seen the puma were extraordinarily similar.
这句中的people前面为什么不加the 后面已经有定语从句在限定内容啊,要说是泛指也未免太牵强了.
是不是一般people前面都没有the的？

这里加the和不加the都是可以的,定语从句在限定性作用上有两类,一类是说明物体本身属性,另一类是规划范围,比如i am looking at the models who are in shirt(穿shirt的那些)和i am looking at models ,who are in shirt（model都穿shirt）
people和the连用的情况也很多,有时候语言就是这样,很随意,抠地太仔细也会影响学习的效率,是自己忽略的最重要的东西.
