Good morning, everyone. Today, I'm going to talk about "early bird gets the first worm", which is well known by us all, but we also heard of "the late worm gets to live". So, the early bird or the late worm, which should we be?
In my opinion, I prefer to be an early bird. Since I was a kid, I have always been educated that "the early bird gets the worm"by my mother. Because of that, I try my most to do everything all the time, which makes me be superior than my peer. Do you know Mr.Yu, the founder of the famous educational institution called New Oriental? In fact, Mr.Yu wasn't a top student when he studied at Peking University, his always ranks among the last five in his major. Obviously, a person like him seems never be qualified enough to found such a successful institution. However, what you'll never guess is his hard-working. From the freshman year, he kept reciting words everyday, and sticked to it with out a cease. When he graduated, he was already the student who had the largest vocabulary among his classmates. It is his being "the first bird" in his college life that makes him achieve today's succuss.
As the going says "Practice makes perfect"(勤能补拙), only if we be "the first bird", can we "gets the worm". So hold our dreams, work hard, be the early bird. Actually, every little bit effort you make from now will pay off.
