Chemistry Scavenger Hunt 紧急!
* 0.30 mol of sodium carbonate.
* A metalloid.
* A hydrocarbon with molecular mass > 100.
* 2-propanol.
* a polymer of vinyl chloride.
* an acid-base indicator other than cabbage extract.
* an oxide of a transition element.
* an organic aromatic compound.
* acetylsalicylic acid.
* Ions.
* an electrochemical cell.
* an inert gas.
* an emulsion.
* a substance with pH >7.
* the salt produced when magnesium hydroxide reacts with sulfuric acid
* 0.50M NaCl.
* the mass of NaCl that can be produced from 10g of sodium hydrogen carbonate reacting with excess hydrochloric acid.
* an equilibrium system containing hydrogen carbonate,bicarbonate ions,and carbonate ions.
(Examples that are simple and easy to collect...please)
* 0.30 mol of sodium carbonate. Hmm...detergent has it...but I don't know how many moles there are in it.
* A metalloid. Aluminum
* A hydrocarbon with molecular mass > 100. Gasoline, sugar..take you pick.
* 2-propanol. Rubbing alcohol
* a polymer of vinyl chloride. PVC pipe
* an acid-base indicator other than cabbage extract. Almost any plant will work. Test one by getting something you know is either acid or basic and dip the a leave in it...if it changes colors, its an indicator.
* an oxide of a transition element. Rust-->Fe2O3
* an organic aromatic compound. Toluene (airplane glue) or mothballs (two types, either Napthalene or dichlorobenzene)
* acetylsalicylic acid. Aspirin
* Ions. What ever it is, it has to be in water. Put salt in water or get some lemon juice.
* an electrochemical cell. battery
* an inert gas. Helium
* an emulsion. butter or mayo
* a substance with pH >7. anything basic: soap, drano, oven cleaner.
* the salt produced when magnesium hydroxide reacts with sulfuric acid Epsom salt
* 0.50M NaCl. table salt...not sure of the molarity off the top of my head.
* the mass of NaCl that can be produced from 10g of sodium hydrogen carbonate reacting with excess hydrochloric acid. basic stoichiometry...
* an equilibrium system containing hydrogen carbonate, bicarbonate ions, and carbonate ions. any soda (coke, dr pepper, whatever), blood.
(hope this help !)
