Sebastian Brandt started off 2010 with a bang,being hand-picked by none other than the world’s no.1 DJ Armin van Buuren to produce the theme for his A State of Trance 450 Tour,and to play at the final event in Wroclaw,Poland.Turning just 22 this year,the young Swede has still managed to put his mark decisively on the trance genre.Over the years Sebastian has blasted out a wide range of quality tracks including the likes of ‘Technology’,‘Serenade’,‘So Cold’,‘Never Alone’ and not to forget the two monsters with his fellow countryman Ludvig Holm; ‘Divine’ and ‘Stargazing’.All of which has gained massive support by the key players in the game.
As a DJ,Sebastian’s sets can be described as Captivating,Energetic and forth most his own favorite music term -Epic.Sebastian:“My very first vision in the studio is to create something that sets the atmosphere in the club just right,just like a film score,you want those grand moments with the right soundtrack,that’s exactly what I’m trying to do,but..For the club!”
In 2006 he started his co-operation with Armada Music,one of the world’s leading dance labels,giving his tracks the proper exposure they deserve.Sebastian’s tunes and remixes are regularly supported by the a-listers,including:Ti?sto,Armin van Buuren,Above & Beyond and Ferry Corsten.His first two productions of 2010 ‘450’ and his huge remix of the vocal track Masoud feat.Laurie – Blinded,both received the “Tune of the week” stamp by Armin himself in his respected radio show “A State of Trance”.The Blinded remix was also voted the best track of the month in Ferry’s own show “Corsten’s Countdown”.
