1.I had the chance to experience 3 different rooms during my stay at The Palace Hotel.Each time I complained I was moved,with the final move being to a room in the new wing.The Palace Hotel is a contrast of new and old.The lower old wing is,well,old.In comfort,modernity,and ambiance it is a far cry from the newly renovated main block whose rooms are to a good Western standard.Make sure you are aware of the fact that ONLY ROOMS IN THE NEW WING OFFER WIRELESS INTERNET.The hotel does have an excellent breakfast buffet each morning and that is not to be missed.Also,the hotel has a great rooftop view,and The Lemon Grass restaurant on the top is also worth taking in their lunch time specials.All in all,the location of this hotel is one of the best...the value for money is less so."
2.The hotel is in a nice area and there is a lot of shopping in the area.Make sure you get a map to find your way around,even though the streets look like they run next to each other,they to bend and it's easy to get lost.The rooms are very nice,clean and modern with great views if you can get one on the street side.The breakfast is really nice.If you want to eat the buffet at night,you will have to make a reservation before,or you won't be able to get in.The tour agency in the lobby was wonderful,the girls there did a great job of making sure you were happy and everything ran on time."
