Nowadays, most of families are three-persons ones; however, a large majority of the children are away from them and busy with their jobs during the labor days. They are so hustled and bustled (事务繁杂) as not to have free time to visit their gerontic (年迈的) parents. The parents are so isolated that they always raise theirs heads and look forward to seeing their sons or daughters. Fortunately, the state has set up some sabbatical leaves (公休假).
This phenomenon has already been paid close attentiong by all levels of governments.
My suggestion is that he or she make good use of idle time to pay visits to their parents and can afford time to pone them to have some chat. Besides, they can arouse their parents to do some activities, such as playing chess, drawing pictures and so on. The most important is that old men need comforting, caring for and concerning. It is necessarily for the government to ask after their health with deep concern. So the authoritie should increase supply to old-age care, for fear that theold men worry about their children and keep standing all alone at door to wait in vain.
