One morning during breakfast,peter was reading his letter,“Look,dear,”he said to his wife,Nancy.“Someone sent these two tickets for the tonight.Isn't that nice？”
“Who sent them？”asked Nancy.
“I don't know.There is a not in the envelope but it just say ，Can you guess who these who tickets are from?”“Well,never mind,”Nancy said,“I think it is one of out friends who wants to give us a nice surprise.”
After dinner that night, Peter and Nancy put on their best clothes and went to the cniema.They had a wonderful evening and came home happily. they were thankful to the friend who had sent them the tickets.But when they got back to their house,they found that a thief stole almost eventhing:furniture,clothes,jewels,money and even the knives and spoons from the kickchen.In the center kickchen table they found another note, this one said,“Now you guess who sent you the tickets?”
