The reality we have to face is: more and more young people indulging in cyber game. What is the reason?
Family reasons, such as parents and grandparents doting on the children, give them free rein.
The pressures of school education, such as exam-oriented education are so large that the student can not get fan from study.
But I think the most important reason is the youths own reason, such as the weak-willed or poor-controlled.
While students dream of being accepted into college for years, they often become lost once admitted. Without their parents' constant support and advice, or because of limited communication with teachers, many students are unable to focus on their future goals.
Such confusion leads some to forget their studies and resort to playing on the Internet, among other forms of recreation. If a student indulges himself in computer games, he is wasting his parents' money and his precious time.
Youth should not only keep their ambitions in mind, but also seriously strive towards them. Without a clear purpose, one might easily waste crucial years neglecting one's studies. ?
After the fierce competition in the entrance examination, some students may have the illusion that they are secure at last in college. Therefore they do not concentrate on their studies and waste money and time. Needless to say, we all have the right to choose our own way of life.
However, college students should define and realize their goals. Time in college is one of the most important periods in our life when we can further prepare ourselves academically for a successful future; therefore we should make the most of it when we have this opportunity. Setting goals is an active way of living. Generally speaking, people are better motivated when they want to attain the goal they set for themselves and have a sense of fulfillment when they succeed. This is true for college students as well. ?
Success requires both setting goals and working hard. Setting goals for ourtime in college will ensure our chances of success at a time when we should challenge and exert ourselves.
