一,新概念第3册里有一句she heard the door open.我总觉得door应该是被开,请解释一下为什么open不用过去式.
二,还有一句The man had returned,accompanied by a pliceman.accompany by 应该是被动语态吧?那为什么没有be动词呢?
我英语不好,见笑了.

1.这里的open应是不及物动词 我不可能听到门被开了 而是门开了
再加上听到了全过程 所以用hear sb/sth do sth
如果是正持续动词正在发生 则用ing
如 I heard them reading loudly when I passed their classroom(我经过时他们正在读 )
I saw two beautiful girls dancing in the park when I walked through the park(同样 我走过时女孩正在跳)
2.一个句子只能有一个谓语动词或系动词
这句子主干是The man had returned,
后面用来修饰man 不需要系动词 而且还可以有其他形式 具体看意思
如 这里是被跟着 所以被动
又比如 the teacher was coming into the classroom happily, carrying a book in his hand
如果非得加be动词 可以用定语从句的形式 即 the man (who was)accompanied by ...
