firsty pick up the test paper, find out the lost points, ask why xiaoming lost those points, find out the root cause, if those lost points occured because of his carelessness in the learning, he may suspend listening to the MP3 while learning. if the reasons are others, this solutions may not take any effect.
Xiaoming may try to see this problem from his mother's view, she wish Xiaoming to be more concentrated upon the learning, not interrupted by music, to improve learning effect.
