Converting Valuated Stock to Non-Valuated Stock?I
I have this situation:Currently,my client stock materials are valuated and it is maintained both quantity and value under each material type.There are open items pertaining to each of these stock materials.Now,one of my client department said that they want to convert each and every stock materials from valuated to non-valuated so that instead it is been store under a special stock account,it will be expense off.I know I need to change in each material type under value on all area to non value on all area.But what impact does it pertain to my client finance or logistics as I notice a lot of reports cannot be use after I change it (in simulation)?

hi Steve!btw,I just ordered your book.Looks like it is helpful to me!anyways...To be more concrete about our issue at the customer.The As-Is situation is that there are 2 material types:1 for valuated and one for non-valuated.the TO-BE situation is that a specific range of the materials connected to the Valuated material type,must be defined as NON-valuated.The obvious way to do this,is to reconnect this range from the valuated material type and add them to the non-valuated material type.Is that thruth?What are the troubles we can face and can you describe some carefull steps maybe?Thanx in advance!Regards,DT123 查看原帖
