When I was ten years old,my family moved to a very small village in Scotland.Our village,Glentweed,didn’t have a cinema or a sports centre,but our house was very big and we had an amazing garden.
Glentweed was unusual because it was very small,but it had a great library.My dad worked there and in winter holidays,my sister and I helped him.But we didn’t stay in the library when the weather was
good.In the summer,we played football in the garden or we met our friends in the park.Sometimes we travelled to Aberdeen and watched films at the cinema there.
Did we enjoy our life in a small village?I did.I was very happy there.But my sister didn’t like it.She wanted to live in a big town with a shopping centre and lots of cafés.
When she was seventeen,she left home and moved to London.Sometimes she visits Glentweed,but she doesn’t stay for a long time.She likes life in the city.But I live in the same house in Glentweed today and when the weather is good,I play football in the garden.My neighbours laugh,because I’m seventy-five years old now.
