例如：go to school go home 这些都不用the,而我英语书上的一句话I’m going to the bookstore .这句话又要用the呢?

go to后面的名词如果加the,则后者表示特指,直接翻译成“去某处/某地”.
而go to后面的名词不加the的话,则该短语表示特殊含义,不能按单词表面意思去翻译.
如：
go to school 上学 go to the school 去这所/那所学校（不一定是去读书）
go home 回家 go to my home 去我的家
go to work 上班 go to the factory 去这家/那家工厂（不一定是去工作）
go to bed 上床睡觉 go to the bed 去床边（不一定是去睡觉）
