原以为not only A but also B 是并列两个副词一起来修饰形容词necessary的,但possibly 和seemingly不同类,也没有possibly 用来修饰necessary的用法.
追问：我看答案分析说的是possibly和necessarily修饰的是前面整个的句子所表达的事实所以用副词但是我始终不明白这两个副词是怎么修饰前面的句子的和I made him angry这个句子有什么本质的不同?

你可以说：He made a chair not only happily but also carefully.(随便造的句子,用的副词可能不当,但语法是通的,意为：他不仅是高兴地而且是认真地做了一把椅子）
